RACE PREPARATION PROTOCOL

BUILD PHASE

GOAL: Support recovery while training volume rises.
DAILY:

  • 1 sachet every day
  • Easy / short days: Take it 45 min before bed.
  • Long easy sessions: Take it 30 min before the start of the training session.

ADAPTATION PHASE

(Typically 4–6 weeks of the hardest training)
GOAL: Natural adaptation. Keep Plasmaide targeted.
USE SPARINGLY:

  • Do NOT take Plasmaide nightly
  • Take only before your highest intensity sessions, ~30–45 min pre-session.
  • Usually 1–2 sachets per week.

TAPER PHASE

(~10 days before race day)

GOAL: Maximise recovery and race-readiness.
NIGHTLY:

  • Take 1 sachet every night, 45 min before bed.

RACE SPECIFIC SESSIONS
  • Add 1 extra sachet, 30–45 min before the training session.

Stage Races:

>> Use 1 sachet 30 minutes before each stage to prepare for the day's effort.

>> After each stage, take 1 additional sachet in the evening to speed up recovery.

>> For 1 week after the race, continue with 1 sachet daily to maintain recovery.

Ultra Events (over 6 hours):
  • For optimal preparation, take 1 sachet daily for 3-4 weeks before the event.
  • On event day, take 1 sachet 30-45 minutes before the start.
  • During the event, take 1 sachet during any 30-minute breaks.
  • After the event, take 1 sachet in the evening to start the recovery process.
  • Continue with 1 sachet daily for 2 weeks post-event for full recovery.

General Use:

>> Use 1 sachet daily for 4 weeks for consistent performance, then take 1 week off to prevent adaptation and maximise benefits.

>> Adjust usage based on your training schedule, especially before significant sessions or events.

Team Sports

In Season:
